Barbara Kendle, 87

Barbara Ann Kendle went home to be with Jesus on December 27, 2023.

Born to Clarence and Adelaide Syring on May 16, 1936, and younger sister to Edward Syring. All have preceded her in death along with grandsons Gabriel and Jeff.

She married Donald Kendle and raised five children before divorcing. Barb worked hard and bought her own condo, she lived in that building until 2020 when she moved to Warroad to be nearer to her family.

Barb was very active at her church in Oakdale, St Pascals. She was one of the kitchen ladies, as she called herself. For years she baked, served, and cleaned for any occasion needed. Barb was also a Eucharistic minister and enjoyed reaching out to those who were sick, dying, or just needed a ride to the store. She had many close friends there.

Barb had two close friends throughout most of her life, Joan Gindorff and Mary Lou Kendle. They had adventures that kept us all on our toes.

But Barb's heart was with her children, their spouses, and their families. She loved gatherings and the chaos of a large family.

She is survived and missed by, David and Chris Kendle, Val and Dave Miller, Laura and Seth Putz, Larry and Kathleen Kendle, Mary and Scott Johnson, her precious grandchildren, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.

A special thank you to the staff at Warroad Senior Center for loving her and making sure she was as happy, comfortable, independent and safe as possible.

Funeral Mass is April 26th at 10:30, viewing is at 9:30.

Interment will follow immediately at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
