Obituary for Jacqueline Beth “Jackie” (Lindholm) Anderson, age 74

July 09, 2026

Jacqueline Beth “Jackie” (Lindholm) Anderson, age 74, of Baudette, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026. Jackie was born on July 17, 1951, in International Falls, Minnesota, to Rueben and Bertha Lindholm.
Jackie lived a life rooted in the outdoors and guided by a spirit of adventure. She found joy in camping, fishing, and hunting, spending countless days exploring lakes near and far. Her love of nature extended beyond recreation—she embraced traditional skills such as making maple syrup, gathering wild rice, and processing the deer she harvested. These pursuits reflected her independence, resilience, and deep connection to the land.
In addition to her love of the outdoors, Jackie found great joy in baking. She delighted in sharing her homemade treats with family and friends, often bringing people together through her generous spirit and warm kitchen.
A passionate animal lover, Jackie dedicated many years to caring for pets through grooming and boarding. The animals she cared for were treated as her own, and their families often became like family to her as well. Her compassion and commitment to animal welfare were widely recognized through her work with local humane societies and animal shelters.
Above all, Jackie cherished time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Michelle Anderson and Tabitha (Kevan) Caswell; her beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, and Carter Stapleton; and her siblings, Teresa (Earl) Buck, Mona (Tom) Enger, Duane (Pam) Lindholm, Kym Rundell, Brian Lindholm, and Deseree (Mark) Goulet. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and adventurous spirit.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Bertha Lindholm.
A memorial service will be held on July 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Baudette, Minnesota, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to stay following the service for coffee and cookies as they share memories and celebrate Jackie’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jackie’s memory to Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue Shelter or the Lake of the Woods Humane Society.
Jackie’s legacy of kindness, strength, and love for the outdoors, animals, and the people she held dear will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
