Call to Order

Mayor C. Lundsten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Council Member J. Klicker made a motion to approve the June 8th minutes. Council Member A. Bastyr seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.

 

It was noted that there was a mistake in the June 17th minutes for the Special Meeting. In the motion regarding the building permit, “have both pumps repaired” is stricken and replaced with “approve the permit”.  Council Member J. Kukowski made a motion to approve the June 17th Special Meeting minutes, with the mentioned correction.  Council Member J. Klicker seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously. 

 

Anthony Pirkl was at the meeting to discuss the upcoming DOT project that will affect the city sewer.  A decision is needed to decide how much of the main sewer line to replace. The matter was tabled to allow Clerk Nicholson time to check on possible use of WIF account money for this project. 

Corey Estling was present to request permission for the annual Fire Department Gun Raffle. Council Member J. Kukowski made a motion to approve the raffle. Council Member J. Klicker 2nd the motion, with it passing unanimously.

City Works Supervisor, Tony Brouse requested 5 loads of granite to continue work on the RV sites at the park. After some discussion, the matter was tabled until pricing could be obtained.

Tod Matelski was present to discuss the artesian relief lines. There was an inspection of the lines done and it was determined that there are several homes that have their well overflow directed elsewhere. There was discussion of a possible artesian relief line fee in the future. 

Vault toilets at the park – Clerk Nicholson informed the Council that an advertisement has been placed in the paper for bids on the construction of the vault toilets. However, no bids were received.

Library - Nothing new.

Finance, Budget and Personnel – Nothing New.

 

Council Member J. Klicker moved to approve the claims paid.  Council member J. Kukowski seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.

 

 

Council Member J. Kukowski made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:45 p.m. Council Member A. Bastyr seconded the motion, with it passing unanimously.
